Wetland Buffer Bird Nesting Season Caution

Buffer communes around Van Long NBCA may host nesting-sensitive periods for wetland birds. Cyclists should defer to local guide instructions and published buffer etiquette — avoid playing bird-call apps, drones, or close approach to roost trees.

We do not publish official nesting calendars without authority citation; treat seasonal caution as a planning mindset, not a dated guarantee. Guides may reroute or shorten boat segments when rangers report stress events.

If you travel with children, explain why quiet matters before boarding boats — excitement voices carry across water farther than on village lanes.
