Bikes and Helmets on Guided Ninh Binh Tours
What our guided tours include on the bike — and what riders should still bring for comfort and safety.
Published Ninh Binh Bike Tours include a bicycle and helmet for guided riding days. That covers the basics for village and countryside routes; it does not replace personal items that make heat manageable — sunscreen, suitable shoes, and light layers for temple stops.
Shoes and clothing
Closed-toe shoes with a stiff sole work better than loose sandals on dyke edges and temple steps. Lightweight long sleeves help for sun and for modest temple visits without carrying a full change of clothes.
We do not publish specific bicycle brands or component lists online because fleet details can change. If you need a particular setup (step-through frame, higher handlebars), mention it when you enquire so the team can advise honestly.
Child seats or tag-along trailers are not described on our standard tour pages — raise family needs at enquiry so the team can respond with current capability rather than assuming a one-size fleet.
